Maori taiaha
The Taiaha!
The Taiaha was a traditional weapon used by all Maori in war. It was made from wood. The sharp end, known as the head was treated well and was not disrespected (e.g dropping the taiaha on it's head means you didn't care for it). There was different stances people used when wielding a taiaha, watch video above.
